The Truth About The Killing of Bel Air Trans-Identified Man (Meghan Riley Lewis)
In the coming days and weeks, you can expect to see a lot of media coverage about the alleged ‘murder’ of Meghan Riley Lewis, a trans-identified man from Bel Air. This story will likely be spun by the TQ+ as a hate crime, and evidence of trans ‘genocide’. The shooter, Brian Delen (47) will be portrayed as a monster, despite the facts of the case not being clear yet. Pink News is already covering this story whilst deliberately missing out key facts. They want you to think that Helen murdered Lewis because he identified as trans. This appears to be far from the case.
According to CBS News, Delen was delivering food to the area on 27th December 2023 when he noticed Lewis walking towards his vehicle. Delen asked him “Are you waiting for a food delivery, sir?” Lewis was offended by the ‘misgendering’, and began yelling at him. At this point, Delen attempted to drive away, which really should have been the end of it.
However, Lewis decided to follow the vehicle on foot. Delen then stopped again, where the pair got into an ‘altercation’, during which Delen discharged a handgun and shot Lewis in the abdomen. Lewis was later taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Of course, with the case being so recent, not all of the facts are yet available. It is unclear who started the physical altercation. However, it certainly sounds as though Lewis was far from an innocent, genocided victim. If he had allowed Delen to simply drive away from the argument, instead of pursuing him and continuing to follow him and yell about being misgendered, Lewis would almost certainly still be alive today.
Delen’s public defender said he had a “strong self-defense argument.” Apparently Delen himself called 911 after Lewis was shot, and tried to help Lewis using his own first aid kit.
I will update this as more facts are released.
